Weingut
Weingut von Francoise und Eric Sallan in La Palme, 25 km südlich von Narbonne, vom Mittelmeer nur durch einen See getrennt.
Rebsorten
50 % Muscat blanc, 50 % Muscat Alexandrie auf 3 ha kalkhaltigen Böden im leicht hügeligen Umland.
Weinbereitung
Natürliche Süße durch die handgelesenen Muscat-Trauben. Wie beim Sherry oder Portwein wird dieser Wein zum Schluss mit 5 - 10 % Tresterbrand aus den gekelterten Trauben versetzt. Das intensiviert den Geschmack und macht den Wein nach dem Öffnen lange Zeit haltbar.
